Who wants More gaelic?
Ceana (sounds like Kenna) is from Ontario, Canada and currently lives in Northern California. She started learning Gaelic during lockdown, first with Duolingo, then online with the Gaelic College in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Many years ago, she spent hours transcribing tracks off The Rankin Family CDs phonetically so she could sing along!
Her learning has taken her from Cape Breton to Uist to kayaking off the Isle of Skye. She’s also a regular at online sessions for music, dance, storytelling, and more. She has been hosting a Gaelic social hour for learners since 2020 and started making and selling Gaelic language stickers in 2023. She looks forward to making Gaelic a bigger part of her own life and your life too.
